See where the price stands in its trend.
Every stock gets a trend channel drawn from its own prices, over five months, 18 months and six years, with the support and resistance levels the price has turned at before. Try it: this is Apple.
Real Apple prices up to October 6, 2026. Calculated automatically from prices; not a recommendation to buy or sell.
Hear both sides before you decide.
Each company report lays out the case for and against, the numbers behind each side, and what the data doesn't cover. Past reports stay available, so you can see what earlier reports said.

The bull case
92% of Q3 fleet days are already booked at about $88,000 a day, well above the $74,000 a day the company earned in Q2. Most of next quarter's freight revenue is locked in before this quarter even ends, and the market may be underestimating how much of those earnings is already known.
Then look at what's behind the trading loss. The $145 million write-down is an unrealized loss on open positions (an accounting adjustment; no cash left the company). Realized gains were positive.
The bear case
The $0.95 dividend per share is more than the $0.79 per share the company earned in the quarter. The gap exists because the trading loss is left out of the payout calculation. That's a choice of definition, and it doesn't add anything to earnings.
Next quarter's guidance is the company's own unaudited estimate, yet the bull case treats it as booked revenue. The write-down is also the company's own number, and those positions are still open and could lose more.
